Methodology for the training of researchers: Some ideas about Research in Geography

Scientific research is an activity, a practice based on proposing the use of epistemological approaches and methods, which seeks to guide the generation of solutions or serve knowledge to other sciences and/or disciplines. Thus, it is inferred that the research must adapt to the theoretical corpus of science, taking advantage of the particularities and generalities related to its object of study. Therefore, in geography research, special attention must be paid to the entity of analysis, since it is as particular as geography itself, being this a synthesis science. In this brief document, an attempt will be made to systematize some basic considerations necessary when conducting research in geography, so its body is aimed at new students or researchers, providing an initial basis for the beginnings in geographic research.
